  • Plumis Founder William Makant

    William Makant

    Chief Executive Officer

    William is a mechanical engineer & technical lead at Plumis.  Before Plumis he lead the combustion development & systems engineering of several engine projects at Ford Motor Company, he worked at the family sprinkler design consultancy business, serving mostly Factory Mutual driven designs. William holds an MBA from Imperial College. He has led to a successful conclusion a number of fire suppression R&D projects with Innovate UK backing which has led to the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation – the UK’s highest accolade for business success. He is a member of the FIA/BASFA Watermist technical committee that contributes to the British Standards.

  • Plumis Founder Yusuf Muhammad

    Yusuf Muhammad

    Chief Design Officer

    Yusuf is a co-inventor of Automist. He has an Honours Masters degree in Engineering and a double Masters in Innovation Design Engineering. Yusuf was one of the lead designers for the Design for Patient Dignity and the Redesign of the emergency ambulance. He has won numerous design awards for a host of innovations across a number of industries including the James Dyson Award, the Toyota IQ Design Challenge, Transport Design of the Year by the Design Museum and the Top 15 inventions of the last decade to name a few. He also starred in the BBC Show ‘The Big Life Fix’ in which the UK's leading inventors create ingenious new solutions to everyday problems and build life-changing solutions for people in desperate need.

  • Plumis Director Suezann Holmes

    Suezann Holmes

    Chief Financial Officer

    Suezann holds an MA in International Relations, an MBA in Finance and a BPA. As former CFO for Moo.com and with experience working for Virgin Media and other commercially known companies, Suezann brings a skill set well versed in profit improvement, cost reduction, mergers, divestitures, acquisitions and budgets. Suezann enjoys cycling in her spare time and takes every opportunity to go sightseeing in London.

    Dr James G. Munger

    Fire Protection Associate

    James “DOC” has been active in the field of fire protection for over 40 years, beginning his career as a firefighter before becoming a Deputy State Fire Marshal for the State of Alabama. He has been an active member of the Adjunct Faculty of the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland for 33 years, developing and instructing courses in fire protection, code enforcement and fire investigation.

  • Plumis Staff Elisha-Kay Gross

    Elisha-Kay Gross

    Operations Manager

    Elisha-Kay has over 15 years of experience in finance which includes banking and accounting, 10 years of experience in organizational development and various management roles. She holds a degree in finance and is currently pursuing an MBA in business with a certificate in financial planning. Elisha-Kay enjoys spending time with her two children, yoga and swimming.

  • Plumis NED Peter Cowley

    Peter Cowley

    Non Executive Director

    Peter is a Cambridge University Engineering and Computing graduate and fellow of the Judge Business School. He’s run technology and construction businesses for over three decades and is involved in charity and social enterprise governance, as chair and treasurer, on many trustee boards. Peter founded and runs the Martlet start-up investment fund in Cambridge and has invested in over 30 start-ups. He is on the board of seven of these, including Plumis. Peter enjoys fine dining.
